With many thanks to our cultural partners we are able to offer a very limited number of fully funded seats on the Hybrid Realities :Lab 2 (HRL 2) development program.

Please read carefully below to decide which one, if any, you might be eligible for and indicate this on your main application.

We can only offer these seats under the criteria specified and to the number of candidates indicated. Standard price seats may still be offered where candidates are not successful in getting a funded seat.

Multiplica (Rotondes)

Multiplica is a Luxembourg-based platform dedicated to advancing social innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation. It connects individuals, organizations, and communities to collaborate on projects addressing social and environmental challenges. By combining technology, creativity, and human-centered approaches, Multiplica aims to create meaningful solutions and drive systemic change.

The Multiplica festival organized by Rotondes focuses on exploring the intersection of digital arts and contemporary digital realities. The event has been running since 2017. It showcases a variety of artistic formats, including audiovisual performances, concerts, workshops, and interactive exhibitions, drawing contributions from both local and international artists.

Eligibility criteria: Candidates must be from the global south. Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, Asia (excluding Israel, Japan, and South Korea), and Oceania (excluding Australia and New Zealand).

Casino Display

Casino Display, a sister institution of Casino Luxembourg – Forum d'art contemporain is a dynamic space dedicated to work, research, exchange, and orientation in contemporary art. It provides a platform for emerging artistic practices and experimental projects, encouraging dialogue between artists, researchers, and audiences. Through exhibitions, residencies, and events, the program examines new perspectives and engages with cultural and social issues, creating a collaborative environment for creative exploration and critical reflection.

Eligibility criteria: Candidates must be an alumnus of Casino Display - past resident, participant or exhibited artist.

Near Now (Broadway Arts & Tech)

Near Now is a creative studio based in the UK that works with artists, designers, and technologists to explore the potential of new ideas. Operated by Broadway, it supports innovative, technology-focused art projects through commissions, research, and development opportunities. Near Now aims to foster experimentation, collaboration, and the creation of thought-provoking work that engages audiences in meaningful ways.

Mnemozine

Mnemozine is an independent publishing and curatorial platform based in Luxembourg, dedicated to exploring the intersections of art, culture, and collective memory. The platform creates a space for dialogue and experimentation through diverse projects, including publications, exhibitions, and collaborations. It seeks to reinterpret and reimagine cultural narratives, often focusing on the ways in which history and memory shape our understanding of the present and future. By bringing together artists, writers, and thinkers, Mnemozine fosters innovative and interdisciplinary approaches to research, with an emphasis on uncovering lesser-known or marginalized perspectives. Through its work, the platform aims to engage both local and international audiences in critical and creative reflection on cultural heritage and contemporary issues.
