birthworkers presents a symbolic environment shaped by the language of ritual and transformation.
The space invokes elemental forms — body, portal, forest, otherworld — suggesting a threshold between material presence and spiritual passage. These motifs evoke practices associated with care, emergence and cyclical renewal.
Within the installation, the viewer enters a quiet ritual landscape. The environment frames birth not only as biological event but as metaphoric passage: a movement between states of being, memory and collective ancestry.
The work situates this transformation within an ancient continuum. Ritual action becomes a way of holding space for the sacred and the communal — a moment where time appears suspended.
