Séance of Silence brings together multiple artists to construct a shared environment that reflects on communication across uncertain boundaries.
The project draws on the symbolism of the séance - a ritual historically associated with attempting to communicate with unseen presences. Within the context of digital culture, the work reinterprets this metaphor as an exploration of signals, transmissions and fragmented communication.
Participants contribute distinct elements that accumulate into a shared environment. These fragments operate as traces or echoes, suggesting messages that are partially received, interrupted or lost.
Through this collaborative structure, Séance of Silence considers how digital networks mediate presence, absence and the possibility of connection.
