Part of Hybrid Realities :Lab 2 (Lab → Output)
Virtual installation, Newart.city
home is a dwelling path constructs an ambient environment composed of fragmented domestic landscapes.
The installation draws on recorded memories, personal materials and found imagery to assemble a spatial collage of home-like structures. These elements appear displaced or partially reconstructed, forming an environment that feels familiar yet subtly unstable.
Rooted in experiences of cultural hybridity and displacement, the work reflects on how the idea of home is formed less through physical location and more through memory, emotion and personal narrative. Architecture becomes fluid, shaped by recollection and reinterpretation rather than fixed geography.
As visitors move through the space, they encounter fragments of lived experience reorganised into a surreal terrain. The work suggests that home is not a single place but an evolving mental landscape - continually rebuilt through memory and movement.
