Virtual installations, Newart.city
Six Minutes Re:search brought together three academics/artists to produce discrete virtual environments within Newart.city.
Each contributor was invited to construct a self-contained spatial presentation of their research-led practice. There was no imposed thematic framework. The emphasis was on translation - how research methodologies, conceptual inquiry and studio output might operate within a virtual exhibition architecture.
The result was three distinct installations, each reflecting a different relationship between theory, media and spatial construction.
