Part of Hybrid Realities :Lab 1 (Lab → Output)
Virtual installation, Newart.city
Water Flowing without Prayers (Ornamental Poem) approaches virtual space as a site of aesthetic construction rather than functional simulation.
Technology, in this context, opens portals that continually reconfigure time and spatial perception. The work explores how digital environments enable layered aesthetics - superimpositions of sound, moving image and form that echo post-Dadaist collage.
Within the installation, virtual space is treated not as spontaneous assemblage but as deliberate composition. Stripped of practical function and everyday necessity, the environment operates in the category of ornament. It is not a place designed to serve a purpose but a space constructed to be experienced.
Over time, the artist reframes the environment as a poetic structure:
it took me months to understand
that this space, at the end, is
just a poem.
The work unfolds as both visual composition and musical structure. Movement through the space activates its rhythm - a sequence of rooms and sonic passages where the viewer’s navigation becomes part of the work’s unfolding.
and a music piece
that you compose yourself
or that composes your movement in my rooms.
The installation proposes virtual architecture as a hybrid form: part poem, part instrument, part ornamental structure.
